Wow wreck of the skyseeker healers1/4/2024 How many children of abuse are never able to achieve their true potential? How many doctors have we lost? How many lawyers have we lost? How many writers, teachers, professors? Most importantly, how many great parents are never formed due to the damage done from a childhood of abuse? And so, the sins of the fathers are passed on to the children. The real tragedy we are talking about in family abuse is the loss of potential. Very few find their way out-so deep is the damage. Abused by a parent, the child feels they are at fault, creating a continuing cycle of destruction that proves again and again that they really are the piece of crap they’ve been programmed to believe. The damage done to children by abuse and alcoholism is lifelong unless you are able to gather the I’ll show you’s, and take back your life. “A survivor’s tale” indeed-this was like reading my story. Thank you for sharing your courageous story of victory.” Your very survival gives hope to those who wonder if healing is possible. Your book gives hope to millions of adults who were traumatized as children. This is a great and important work.”Īnother tribute by Marilyn Van der Bur, Miss America for 1958 and an abuse survivor, seconded Suzanne Somers’ comments: “You will touch lives. Suzanne Somers who has written the Foreword to my book, touched the nerve that inspired me to tell my story: “If you’ve lived any version of this life, read this book and you will find hope, help and inspiration to fix yourself, and inherit the life you have always deserved…. The main reason I wrote “Climbing Out of the Wreck,” was not to entertain, however, but to help others who were trapped in family nightmares like mine. What an unbelievable saga, and so beautifully told.” Joel Surnow, the creator of the TV series “24” had a similar reaction. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop… I was riveted from beginning to end.” Adam Bellow, a well-known New York editor wrote: “I was completely blown away by this beautiful book. The book has been highly praised by literary experts. I have written a book, “Climbing Out of the Wreck: A Survivor’s Tale,” which describes my growing up in an abusive family headed by a sexual predator and then my struggles over nearly a lifetime to free myself from the traumas and family patterns that crippled the lives of my sisters and brothers. I am 58 years old and a resident of Colorado.
